What is Simply Slow Mail?
Simply Slow Mail is a monthly members-only club mail subscription delivering a beautifully designed, destination-themed package straight to your mailbox. Each month, you will receive a printed letter, postcards, a fully illustrated fold-out designed especially for that destination, and a few small surprises.
It is a slow and nostalgic way to travel through stories, paper, and thoughtful design.
What is included in each monthly mail?
Each month’s envelope contains:
- A printed letter signed by hand, with your name handwritten inside
- A selection of curated postcards
- A custom-designed illustrated fold-out (the folder that holds the letter, postcards and surprises)
- Occasional small surprises (these change month to month)
When will I receive my mail?
- Subscribe on or before the 18th → you receive that month’s edition
- Subscribe after the 18th → you start the following month
- All mail starts shipping from the 20th, from Portugal
For this first edition, pre-orders are now open! Join the mail club now to secure your spot — quantities are limited, and your envelope will be sent by January 20th.
Future editions will not include pre-orders and will open on the 18th of each month.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery depends entirely on your country’s postal system:
- Europe: typically 1–3 weeks
- Rest of the world: typically 2–6 weeks
Actual times may vary.
Is shipping included?
Yes. The monthly subscription price already includes worldwide shipping with no extra cost.
Is the shipping tracked?
No. Simply Slow Mail is sent via traditional postal mail with a physical stamp, which does not include tracking. This is part of the “slow mail” experience.
What happens if I don’t receive my mail?
If your monthly mail has not arrived within 30 days after dispatch:
- We will resend the previous month’s edition free of charge if stock is still available
- You will also receive the current month’s edition
- If the replacement also fails to arrive, your subscription will be cancelled
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes — you may cancel whenever you wish.
The cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle.
Can I change my address?
Yes. Please update your address before the 18th of the month so the change applies to the upcoming edition.
Mail lost due to incorrect or outdated addresses cannot be resent.
Do I need to pay customs or import taxes?
Usually no, as this is a low-value printed-paper item.
But if your country charges import taxes or customs fees, those are the subscriber’s responsibility.
Can I gift a subscription?
Yes — you can purchase Simply Slow Mail for someone else. Just be sure to enter the correct mailing address for the recipient.
